The Role:

As our Videographer, your primary responsibility will be to conduct professional and engaging interviews with individuals at various clients, including large employers, business centres, and our Glasgow office. You will be responsible for all aspects of the video capture and editing process, ensuring high-quality visual and audio output.

In addition to interviews, you may also occasionally be involved in:

  • Capturing footage at in-person events.
  • Undertaking overnight projects in other parts of the UK.
  • Producing promotional video content to support our and our clients’ business objectives.

While experience in streaming video capture is desirable, it is not a prerequisite.

We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of video production principles and a keen eye for detail.

Who We Are Looking For:

We welcome applications from individuals at different stages of their videography careers:

  • Early-Career Videographers: You have a solid foundation in video production techniques and are eager to develop your skills in a professional setting.
  • Mid-Career Videographers: You bring valuable experience and a proven track record in capturing high-quality video content.

We are also open to both full-time and part-time applicants. For part-time candidates, this role can be either your primary focus or a valuable supplement to an existing freelance career. We are flexible in considering different working patterns to find the right fit.

The ideal candidate will be someone who takes ownership of their work and demonstrates a proactive approach to client management and identifying opportunities to expand our client base. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in video capture and a strong portfolio showcasing your work (in-line with your career stage).
  • Proficiency in video editing software (ideally, Adobe Premiere Pro).
  • A full UK driving license and access to your own personal transport to attend off-site sessions (all job-related travel expenses will be paid).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards your work.
  • A methodical approach to planning, video capture and file management.

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience with streaming video capture.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics or sound editing.

What We Offer:

  • Salary Budget: £23,000 – £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience and the number of days available to work per week.
  • Opportunity to work on a diverse range of organisations.
  • Investment in reasonable additional equipment to meet the needs of the role.
  • A supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Opportunity for professional growth and development.

Probationary Period:

This position is subject to a 6-month probationary period.
